SEAN T. BRADLEY worked for over eight years as an analytical chemist at Midwest Research Institute before attending law school. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Rockhurst College and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board, as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and as Articles Editor on The Urban Lawyer, a journal of the American Bar Association.
Mr. Bradley is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is admitted to the Kansas Bar, the Missouri Bar, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth Circuits. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, where he has served two terms as Chair of the Patent, Trademark and Copyright Committee.
Mr. Bradley’s practice includes patent and trademark searches, preparation of patent applications, preparation of trademark and copyright applications for registration, prosecution of applications in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, client counseling, litigation, and other aspects of intellectual property law such as drafting license agreements and non-disclosure agreements. Mr. Bradley has given presentations on intellectual property law to organizations such as KCSourceLink, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the local chapter of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association and the UMKC Entrepreneurial Legal Services Clinic.
